  • Leadership Workshop — Discussion Forum

     The Commission on a regular bases host a number of workshops, seminars and forums that address many different issues and church concerns  as it relates to church growth — leadership evelopment — marriage — family  concerns — healthcare — neighborhood violence — education in our schools and many others.   • Weekly TV Program
      Each week the CCC hosts a weekly T.V. forum on local Public Access T.V.   This forum was created to educate the public concerning the work being  done by the Christian Community Commission. These forums are also a  way to express church and community concerns.

  • CCC Women Power Conference Committee (WPCC)
      The Women Power Conference Committee was organized to stimulate, unity   and collaboration amongst women from various churches: To move forward   the cause of Christ while addressing issues that effect women both the spiritual as well as the natural. The goal is also to create outlets that bring about Christian fun and social enjoyment for women and the family.

  • Annual Statewide Gospel Fest
     Gospel Fest New Haven is the largest Gospel Musical Event statewide, drawing thousands of people during the course of the weekend. The objective of the Festival is to celebrate the the historic tradition of Gospel Music, provide a spiritual and social alliance with other churches and the community at large  The Festival is also a base for publicly addressing issues as education, healthcare, youth development and family betterment programs. This event is given every year during the first weekend of August.

  • CCC Leadership Award Banquet

      Each year Christian Community Commission through nominations from 12 churches award 12 people the Christian Leadership and Human Service Award.The Banquet is given to acknowledge the dedicated and unselfish services that are given to the church, either by a Pastor or lay-person. It was designed to share church fellowship, while acknowledging faithfulness. This event is given annually every first Monday in April.

  • Christian Youth in Action (CYA)
     
     CYA is the youth component of the Christian Community Commission organized to address the concerns of church youth and their friends. The goal of the organization is to identify the needs and concerns of today's youth, and find ays to draw draw young people to Christ. Some of the objectives in doing this are… discussion groups… mentorship prgrams… Christian hip hop events… youth services… roller skating… community outreach activities and musical events.

  • Prayer Walks

      The purpose for the Community Prayer Walks is to:
    1. To demonstrate collectivly the appreciation for God's presence in our lives
    2. To inspire a spiritual awakening
    3. To encourage church participation
    4. To tear down spiritual strongholds
    5. To increase simple and basic pro-active movement of the church
      in the neighborhood

  • Brotherhood Leadership and Mentoring Program
      The goal of the program is to promoth positive male partictpation that will work with the local schools and community to engage support and leadership role models for young boys between the age of 8 and 13 years old.
